About Campus Safety

The Department of Campus Safety is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment.   Campus Safety Officers are trained to provide excellent service through security checks, report writing, and other tasks which may require their expertise.  An excellent relationship with the Redding Police Department (RPD) exists, and we encourage timely reporting of a crime to all appropriate agencies at federal, state and local levels.

Though Simpson University is located in a quiet, natural setting, the campus is not immune to crime. Acknowledgement of potential dangers and taking preventive measures will help protect individuals and keep the Simpson University community safer.
